A comprehensive refurbishment of a four-storey listed building in Victoria, London, right behind Buckingham Palace. The property was stripped out and refurbished throughout, including the distinctive rooftop dome and its internal room.
Our works included new electrical and plumbing installations, complete bathroom refurbishment, supply and installation of the new kitchen, new doors and decorative door panelling, extensive high-end painting and decorating, wallpaper finishes to high-traffic areas, and extensive carpentry works including carefully selected skirting boards, architraves and trims to complement the character of the listed building. The kitchen layout was developed in collaboration with the designer, with YSI responsible for its supply and installation. Concealed lighting was incorporated within the coving and other architectural features throughout.
Working within the unusual geometry and existing fabric of the listed property required careful detailing throughout, particularly across the different floor layouts and the distinctive rooftop spaces.
