A complete loft conversion and associated home alterations in Wembley, London. The existing roof was opened up and substantially reconstructed to create a new dormer extension and additional living space.
The works included structural steelwork and a new floor structure, new roof construction, rooflights and a new staircase connecting the loft to the existing house. The new accommodation was fully insulated, plastered, decorated and fitted with bespoke storage within the eaves.
A new bathroom was created within the loft, while the existing first-floor bathroom was relocated as part of a revised bedroom layout. The existing ground-floor bathroom was also completely stripped out and refurbished, with YSI carrying out the plumbing, tiling and associated finishing works throughout.
The completed conversion added substantial usable space to the property while integrating naturally with the existing house.
